Take out hook:
The hook is present in the recliner arm unit. So turn the chair upside down and open the recliner arm mechanism. Pull the recliner arm, the mechanism in reverse, and take out the hook from the opener. Your cable may be with or without spring.
Pull out plastic clips:
So you’re done with a hook that’s awesome! Two plastic clips are present next to the hook. Pull-on these clips and they will come out of the recliner arm unit.
Now place the recliner sideway and open the screws present on the recliner cup handle with the help of Philip’s screwdriver.
It just takes a while
Take out the old cable
After removing the screw the old cable is free now, pull the handle and the old cable will come out along with its tail and hook. Because we just loosened it underneath.
Install new reclining cable in handle position:
Now take your new cable and enter it through the hole in the handle position where the old cable was present before after entering the cable in the hole of handle position, pull the wire from the dustcover to another end by hand.
You to place the new cable exactly from where you removed the old cable.
Leave the reclining cable hanging underneath and go to the handle position.
Insert a screw in place (turn the recliner sideway):
Insert the screw into their place to fix the handle into its position.
Place plastic clips
Pick the hanging cable underside and put the plastic clips in place to fix the cable. Place the form where you’re removed exactly.
